Diaw? Last I checked, he plays for the Bobcats, not Hornets.
I think that both of our first rounders for the eleventh and Peja’s contract would probably get the deal done.
Peja has been viewed as an albatross for awhile for legitimate reasons but his Adjusted +/- has been mildly positive recently and not just for stretching the floor- he also seems to reduce own team turnovers strongly. He now has just 1 more season on his contract.
I like the idea better than I would have before or thought I would now before checking.
The key would be can you find him 20-30 minutes especially in the playoffs? He is mostly a SF but he did ok at PF in 08-09.
They could do it, if they wanted to. Would it help the offense without hurting the defense much? It could if came out of Green’s and possibly Ibaka’s time and in the right lineups.
